我的车是两套rims，另外一套是合金的。

If it's about wheel covers, then there are no wheel covers being used if your original rims are alloy. In case you buy a new set of rims for winter tires, you may pick steel rims. In that case, you need to buy a set of wheel covers if you want and if your original rims are alloy. Many drivers don't spend extra money to buy them since there is no direct impact to the performance of the car.

那东西在螺母装上以后还不一定能装上去。很多情况必須Follow certain sequence, 而且还要注意把充气的Stem让出来，不是随便摆哪都行的。总之还挺麻烦

第一是不让带盐的雪腐蚀螺帽和螺拴.

Wheel covers (for steel wheels) are not necessary in winter.
Hub cap (for alloy wheels) are useful in winter.
In this thread, we are talking about hub cap. Installing is simply pressing it on. Removing would be taking off the wheel-on-rim from vehicle, and pushing hub-cover out from inside (thru the center hole) with a wooden stick.

Oh. Thanks for the clarification. I thought it was about wheel covers. Will go back to correct my answer.
