越狱一年半,大部分时间耗在渥太华,白吃白住还跟警察飞媚眼,满市里散步玩耍。呆腻了就砸车行偷新车在多省自驾游,好不快活!

A U.S. killer and prison escape artist featured on America's Most Wanted a dozen times fell in love with Ottawa, praising it as the best place to be when on the run.

Richard Lee McNair, who is back in prison, spent a week as a fugitive in Ottawa in 2006. He says the city made him feel like a lucky tourist. It seemed everything went smoothly, from getting a place to stay, to riding the O-Train, and even the time he crossed paths with a police officer, who smiled and waved back at the paranoid fugitive.
