请问 $560+HST for Gas line rough-in expensive?

新房builder送厨房的家电,我们打算升级要GAS RANGE，要弄一条Gas line rough-in.
Builder开价$560 + HST, 我本人没弄过这个，可是觉得有点贵。
大家给个意见，要不要让他们做？
有没有人弄过？
有经验的，如果找别人做，会不会很麻烦?大概要多少钱呢？
会对将来的warranty有影响ne?
大家有没有好的师傅推荐呢？

you can have that done by a licensed person after closing, maybe half to 2/3 of the builder quoted price.

builder also hires licensed company/person to do the job, lots of them get the job done by harding heating & cooling.

我的意思是这种涉及气，动力电的东西，只要不太离谱的价格别去担风险。你找人做就省１／３（2００多块的事情）万一出事情（这方面要出就是出大事的），你就夹在BUILDER和你找的人中间，两头扯皮为2００多块不值。像地板，瓷砖。。。说实话就是出事情能出个多大个事，升级价格又贵那就没必要找BUILDER做了,要省钱从这些地方省，能省大钱（省下来的都是几K）. 水电气上省个１００－２００的没必要。

你回头接气路子找谁想过没？还不是要找certified gas fitter？！另外不看实情不报管线布局（长短距离）没法准确报价。

R和U的是STANDARD...不过羊毛出在羊身上,用不用反正都给你装上了...

I am buying from Tartan.
Yes, gas line rough-in is standard feature for some other builder like Urbandale, but not Tartan.
If I hire someone to do, will definitely hire licensed person/company who will provide warranty on their work.
But you are right, what if accident happened? sigh...

The price is not too bad, so go with the builder.

It is not a big deal for a licensed personal to install a gas line. There is no more risk than any other type of renovation. The gas line is installed at very late stage of house building any way. Haven't heard any new house were burnt down by faulty gas line installation.

要是CLOSING之后找别人做会不会影响到warranty?
例如Builder 1 year and 2 year warranty, and TARION WARRANTY？
