Just my 2 cents. If you have bought an Apple laptop, it's not bad to keep the warranty. Believe me, if you have any hardware issue on your Apple computer in the future, ccc won't be able to fix it at all within $300.

Most of people here are only good on PC like me.

Not sure if you get enough answer. From my recent experience, you could use some credit card to pay for the computer. Such credit card could extend the warranty for one more year (in addition to the one year warranty from the manufacture). That would give you two year warranty, and you pay nothing extra.
