I called CBSA, and complained why charged me 23 dollar for custom and duty for my 200 yuan of good?

and I was told by the very nice lady there must be a mistake!!!!!

That custom should only be 18% of the cost of good, plus HST.

I can just download a form from the website and mail the document for a refund!

Simple and easy!

我不知道你说的啥！ 我上次寄电器到美国修，美国往回寄时海关收了 $62 ($22 TAX + $40 brokage fee).

最后忙乎了半天， $22 退回来了， $40 brokage fee 喂狗了 :flaming:

海关会承认是200人民币吗？

LZ看仔细些，$23大部分是清关费吧？ 清关费用是DHL的手续费，不会退的
所以以后从国内寄东西过来，最好走国内邮局，别用DHL,Fedex一类的快递公司。

海关如果认定货物价值是200加元，那就绝对不止$23这么点儿了
我曾经一次国内寄一些日常用品，价值填$100，这里收货时总共交了将近$40的清关费关税消费税等等。

一般都是按照你寄的时候申报的价值来计算的，只要不是特别离谱，或者你把原始价格签都挂在里面。
