I assume IB=International Business？ Since people are saying Investment Banking, Ivey and Queens are better in Canada. Wharton, Penn U in the US is the best. then I thought IB must not be Investment Banking. Was I wrong?

一朋友的孩子，去年Queen's毕业，直接去哈佛读研去了。

She cut McGill and U of Toronto. Now the top 3 choices:
(1)Queens U (good thing is: it is close to home.)
(2)York U Schulick (tuition cost, and living cost low. compus looking great.)
(3)Western Ontario (problem is far.)

Scholarship she receives on the above 3 are now all about the same. I attended a tour of York U with her. I personally like York Schulik very much in terms of compus environment.

(1)Queens U (good thing is: it is close to home.)

(2)York U Schulick (tuition cost, and living cost low. compus looking great.)

(3)Western Ontario (problem is far.)



Scholarship she receives on the above 3 are now all about the same. I attended a tour of York U with her. I personally like York Schulik very much in terms of compus environment.

Far or close is not a real issue while it's not in Ottawa. And, four years later, she will run into the world without you anyway.

1> Queen's U (close and a bright future in the field of commerce)
2> Western Ontario (a bright future as great as in Queen's U, but, far :blowzy:)
3> York U (tuition cost no big diference, tiny hope to get an offer from Wall Street)

Thank you for your opinion! She kind of prefers Queens too. A lot of friends are going there. Really York U's tuition and residence cost IS much lower.

Anyone actually went to York U Schulike school in the past? I am really impressed by the compus. Beautiful!

Queens: Tuition+activities fee+residence = $28000/year.

Then consider which one of others more comfortable to your daughter.
