I think the empty land opposite to All Saints Catholic High is a perfect location for the new school..Does anybody know who owns this piece of land?

I was confused with Cathy's words this morning...according to the old news (a week ago, see below), seems like the land was not the issue..the new school will be near Earl of March...

Staff recommendations for Kanata North were defeated at a previous meeting. They called for an immediate $16 million in capital funding to build a new elementary school beside Earl of March Secondary School, for which the board already owns land, and an intermediate school addition on Earl of March.

on one comments from the ottawa citizens article, that piece of land was owned by ocdsb but "those fools sold that land to others"

It appears that OCDSB has sold the previously "unused" land.
