2010-2011 D. Aubrey Moodie Award

[FONT='microsoft sans serif', 'sans-serif']Eric ranked 13th nationally and 1st in his school for the 2010 Fermat Mathematics Contest, and attained the Bronze Standard for the 2010 Hypatia Mathematics Contest; as well as ranking in the top 1% (31st nationally) and 1st in his school for the 2010 Avogadro Chemistry Contest. He will be attending the esteemed Yale University, this fall to study Biology and Economics.[/FONT]
[FONT='microsoft sans serif', 'sans-serif']Co-winner of the D. Aubrey Moodie Award - Prashanth Srinivasan graduated from the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme at Colonel By Secondary School. The IBP is an intellectually-rigorous and internationally-renowned education system.~He achieved a maximal final IB score of 45 (out of a total 45 pts), a distinction gained by only about 0.1% of IB students each year, worldwide. He is also one of 16 winners of the 2011-2012 University of Ottawa Undergraduate Research Scholarship (URS). He spent his summer working with a research group at NRC in biotechnology and virological research.[/FONT]
[FONT='microsoft sans serif', 'sans-serif']Prashanth Srinivasan will be pursuing a double-honours degree in biochemistry and chemical engineering at the University of Ottawa. He declined offers from McGill and the University of Toronto in favour of Ottawa's URS Program. He plans to pursue a career in biotechnological and biomedical research upon completing his academic career.[/FONT]
