Breaking News: Human foot found in Montreal neighbourhood
A human foot was found in Montreal's Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighbourhood today, a day after human remains were received in the mail by two Vancouver schools.
Montreal police are releasing few details, but said the remains were discovered by a passerby on St-Jacques Street near Connaught Avenue at 7:38 a.m. ET.
Police have blocked off the area.
Investigators said it is too early to say if there is any connection to the investigation of Luka Rocco Magnotta, who was captured in Berlin earlier this week and is awaiting extradition to Canada following an international manhunt.
Magnotta is wanted in Montreal in the brutal killing of a university student from China.
