Job title Computer Officer
Department Hotel Department
Job Duties The Computer Officer is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and support of all onboard computer systems, servers, networks, POS terminals, and peripherals, ensuring the systems perform at optimum levels. This consists primarily of level 1 and 2 support as well as system monitoring and troubleshooting. The Computer Officer is supported by the shoreside IT group.
Requirements Candidates for the Computer Officer position will have an AA or higher in Computer Science, MIS and at least two years of related experience, specifically in the areas of user support. Candidates must have thorough knowledge of computer systems including but not limited to Unix, MS Office, Windows XP/7, Server 2003 and experience troubleshooting PC hardware and software applications. Excellent written, verbal and communication skills are required, with management experience strongly preferred.
Location Global shipboard
Salary 3200 USD per month
