compare 这个动词的逻辑主语是you，所以得用现在分词。正确表达是：
Comparing with your living standards when you were in China, do you think now they are: 1. better; 2....

Still not understand why use standards instead of standard.

这个测验恐怕只是对近一两年内来的人有效，多年前来的人就不好比了（学生时来的就根本不能比）。谁知道现在回去又能过得怎么样呢？
