打算在southvale/russell 附近买房，但对这个区域非常陌生，所以恳请大家帮助谈一下周边治安及学校的情况。谢谢！

据说极差，周围很多工厂，很多福利楼，没有好学校，绿化很差，公园很少。俺也只是听说，因为有个朋友住那，或许和你要买房的地方不在一起。具体你还是多了解了解吧

干嘛非买单位边上呢？万一买完后换单位了咋办呢？万一单位又搬家了又咋办呐？

没有调查过，请不要乱说。我在southvale住得很好

There are only few areas around Motreal road. I wouldn't buy a house. Other than that most Ottawa areas are safe. Only thing different is the school. If I have school age Children I wouldn't buy a area with schools have lower ranking than top 20% in Ontario. You want send your kids to a high school most kids expected go to university. It makes envrioment of shool totally different than schools that most kids will go to workforce or college after graduation.
