有必要加入CAA吗?

我刚刚加入了DAA。 是Costco 的一个服务。年费$79. 拖车距离为250km. 一年管8次。我们家每年都要拖车。新车也不例外。现代的新车3年用了3次。

新车还这么频繁？出现什么情况需要拖车？

是的。他们就是加CAA来。三年到期了，所以就又买了DAA。
第一次叫拖车是N年前发生在离渥太华200公里外。幸运的是当时正好有TD的Gold Elite Visa* Card。当时的service真不错。先将我的车拖到当地的修车处，没法修。然后就给拖回到渥太华。从此我就体会到roadside service 很有用。一直买。

Once you are enrolled(free), no annual fee. It's per-use rebate.

Say, you tow from home to garage, spent $90CAD and mail receipt to them and got $75US rebate in the mail.

Say, you are in Vancouver, you lock key inside car, call the toll free number, someone came and got they key back and spent $70CAD. Sent receipt to them and got $75US rebate in the mail.

Let say again, you are in Florida, need tow, and spent $125US. Send receipt to them and got $75US rebate.

It's a rebate type of usage, pay first and rebate later. If no use, no membership fee. Membership is 1-year after $25 spent with Onion.
