我想问一下,关于Collective Agreement-CR, Article 36, 是说我每次routine medical appointments不超过3.75小时,还是只有第一次是3.75小时,第二次以后就要用病假?

Article 36 Medical Appointment for Pregnant Employees

36.01 Up to three decimal seven five (3.75) hours of reasonable time off with pay will be granted to pregnant employees for the purpose of attending routine medical appointments.

36.02 Where a series of continuing appointments is necessary for the treatment of a particular condition relating to the pregnancy, absences shall be charged to sick leave.
 
每次 3.75 小时
 
检查每次3.75 小时;持续性治疗需要的时间算病假。
 
每次常规孕检半天(3.75小时),提前跟经理打个招呼,不用病假。

也想到这点了,很多时候这是 Guideline. 如果老板说 NO, 事情还真不好办了
 
我也是这么理解的,之前也都没有用病假。在过两个月,月份大了,我的routine medical appointments要bi-weekly or weekly,我supervisor就发邮件问我们的HR,HR advisor说我只有第一个appointment是在3.75小时里面cover,其他的都要用病假!现在我让我把我之前看病的时间补病假。

我朋友在工作,她怀孕的时候就不用用病假去看医生,所以我很疑惑。

The employee is entitle up to 3.75 hours for her first appointment. Every other follow up appointments should be taken as sick leave.

There is no code in peoplesoft to enter the first appointment (3.75h). Therefore it is up to you to keep a record in your file to make sure this type of leave is taken only once. For any other follow up appointment, the employee should enter leave request in peoplesoft as sick leave (paid if the employee as a positive balance or unpaid if the employee as no credits left) .

应该去找 HR 的 senior 去问,或者你们部门应该有个什么 committee 的, 比如什么妇女保障等等。

HR 里不懂事,不懂条文的也很多的

You can also ask the union rep in your section about it.
 
To heureux: 谢谢提醒!我已经让我的supervisor回复给那个HR advisor了,看他怎么说。如果他回复还是按照他原来那样讲的,我再refer到他manager那边吧。
