逮啥用啥。高兴了用91，不高兴用87

话说，1.8L的引擎虽然用87就够，但是用91是不是会更好？

"each litre is cheaper by 2 cents"...如果油价低于1块我用CIBC的卡，高于1块可以开始考虑其他的返现金的卡了 （比如返2%），现在油价都120-130，我用返现金的卡，而且CAR WASH要的点数还年年涨早就不是6700点了，记得去年就是要7000点了。

返现金的卡(比如返2%) :

Any annual fee?
Benefits?
Does it cover Car rental insurance (Loss and Damage Waiver, Personal Accident etc?) ?
If that card offers 2% cash back, then how much do you think that card is charging retailers? (There is no free lunch)

If your car user manual says 87, then better use 87.

91 is for cars like BMW, Accura, Audi.

91 is higher compression ratio and hence more power.

Your 1.8L car probably has 120 to 130 HP, an Audi 1.8 L (using 91 and turbo) has over 200 HP, the price to pay (besides car price) is on average 15 cents more per litre.

LZ can try to fill in 91 and find out whether there is any difference in driving. (I doubt there is any difference if your car is new).

You title is "大家常去的加油站是" and my answer is my family usually go to Petro Canada.
I have Petro Canada card since 1996, and since 2011, Petro Canada cancelled Petro Canada (and replaced by CIBC Petro Card), I was forced to transfer my Petro Canada points to CIBC Petro Card, and I only use this card to pay gas. And I have asked CIBC to reduce my credit limit.
I have another credit card which covers car rental insurance, 1% cash back, no annual fee, ....

Your Hbc suggestion is interesting, and I like Esso touch free car washing.

绝大多数加油站都缺斤短两，与牌子无关。
要点：油表先跳0.4~1.2升然后第一滴油才出来的加油站不要去第二次。
每次加满油，里程数清零，下次加满时，按照加油量与里程数计算油耗，持续油耗高的加油站不去，事实是不是油耗变了而是缺斤短两了。

My experience is that some gasoline seem to have more muscle...

标E85 的是几乎纯酒精，能量只有汽油的一半。
掺10%酒精也是会标示出来的。掺更多酒精的一半就不标了：）

What is your another credit card?
I exchange all my Hbc rewards points into Esso Extra points, and only redeem them when I want to wash my car. I am collecting them for exchanging Aeroplan points.
