安省PC要停全天Kindergarden

这个应该算是供需问题吧：

day care 因为招不满人，所以愿意开车去学校接；要是也有个长长的 waiting list, 它是不会去接的！

另外，村里还有专门的 VAN 服务，帮助接孩子送孩子，交钱就行

他招不满，可能就是离学校太远了，。

full day的Extended Day Program特受欢迎，就是离学校近。咱村冬天，4，5岁的孩子，还是少折腾点吧。

其实现在的extended care的模式就挺好的，政府只需要提供个学校场地就行空着也是空着，根本没有任何额外花费，该有的那些花费家长完全可以负担和自己送daycare一样。我和一些ECE licence的老师聊过，很愿意来学校做的，学校设施好生源又有保障工作又不太累。还有很多ECE supplied teachers都在等着工作呢。
都是全天，孩子家长都不用折腾，还可以把半天的中间那趟school bus也取消掉也省了点钱。
想必办法总是有的，就看政府愿意不愿意去做吧。

不是全部停办，已经有的继续，没有的暂时不办。​

要能这样，那半天就不算大问题了，学校场地空着也是空着，还省bus钱。

Government certainly needs some fund to increase time from half day care to full day. For tax payer,it won't affect the rich, they don't pay much tax anyway, and they kids go to prestige private kindergartens; it won't affects the poor either much, they enjoy the subsidize day care; middle class family pays the bills for both sides. A great country , isn't it?

ECEs are definitely excited on full time day care idea, they will get stable job and take over the rest business from family run after school care. They also can have a union drive and unionized at provincial wide. Then, your tots, like other student under age 13 become some kind of "hostage" for work place collect bargain.

Of course, 村长support PC . and hates the idea. But who's going to send their kids to 村长幼儿园, Is it at or near your gas station? I don't think provincial Work and safety Board will approve it. Don't run 幼儿园, 村长. You are smart guy. You could be a very good politician, I think. Have you joint PC and get membership card yet? It is only less than $400 per year. A peanut for a Gas Bar owner. There are so many stupid politicians in Ontario PC. In less than 5 years, you would be the head of Ontario PC for sure, further, become the 1st Chinese Canadian Primer in Ontario,or just stay I Be Myself.

安省下届大选２０１５年，FULL DAY JK＆SK ２０１４年就全盘实施完毕。。他HALT个WHAT呀？

老师和孩子的ratio从现在 one teacher and one Early Childhood Educator for every 26 children 到 one teacher or one ECE for every 20 students。

其他的还有道理，利弊都有。但停全天kindergarden，我觉得不好。

光凭这一点奏不能选PC，要不姑娘后年去哪儿上学？盼星星盼月亮的。:flaming:
