QNX is an OS, its kernel name procnto which has kernel, process manager...

I might be wrong if they did something special for blackberry.

I don't think this z10 stand a chance competing against android. The phone specs are not impressive, high price tag , smaller pool of apps, all spell trouble yet again. With Sony samsung htc launching their flagship phones with higher specs every a few months , I strongly suspect blackberry 's future will be a bleak one if it has a future at all.
