Thanks. In fact I was also a bit confused as my prevous employer also provide RRSP match, and as you said, it is not counted as income but rather as deferred RRSP. I may need to check with my colleagues to see if they understand it or call HR.
Matching RRSP is taxable benefit which must be part of box14. All contributed RRSP amount including matching part can be deducted from box14 to reach taxable income.
