父母移民登陆后三个月之内OHIP等待其间，大家用什么保险COVER？费用大约是多少？

TIC - JF Optimum Visitor

65 岁以上， $100,000, 0 deductible, 91天，每人大约525。

最好提早买，这样老人一到， 保险就生效了。

自己买保险。费用跟保的项目，额度有关。比较基本的大概3百元一份保单，保三个月。

谢谢楼上俩位。OHIP是必须在这儿呆满三个月后亲自去办的？我的问题是爸妈第一次只能呆3个月左右。 但是OHIP 条例说
you make your primary place of residence in Ontario; and generally,
you are in Ontario for at least 153 days of the first 183 days immediately following the date you establish residence in Ontario (you cannot be absent for more than 30 days during the first 6 months of residence); and
you are in Ontario for at least 153 days in any 12-month period.

如果爸妈第一次只能呆3个月， 过了WAITING PERIOD 马上申请。然后回国 。（OHIP 卡已在手）.到明年回来。能行吗？貌似违反了规定。大家有啥建议？非常感谢！

三个月加一天时，保险卡就生效了，对吗？

谢谢。比如说父母回去６个再回来。他们有OHIP卡。回来用的时候他们怎么知道持卡人违反规定了呢？这是不是ON VOLUNTEER DISCLOSURE BASIS 的啊？

父母移民签证已经下来。要求３０天内邮寄护照到北京大使馆。

父母移民签证已经下来。要求３０天内邮寄护照到北京大使馆。已经寄了。凭大家的经验，邮寄到大使馆后要多久父母才能收到签证？大使馆是邮寄一般信件不是特快或挂号信吧？谢谢！
