Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson says he’s glad Queen’s Park has come out against the possibility of a new interprovincial bridge over Kettle Island.
At a press conference Monday, Transportation Minister Glen Murray said the provincial government will not support National Capital Commission’s plans for a new $1.16 billion interprovincial crossing over the island.
