Without extra push, it's not likely. But who knows. What if the ground would shake. Hand brake is not as powerful as many of us thought. Once the car is rolling (for example, pushed accidently), you may not need a very steep slope to let it run, even if the hand brake is pulled up (plus it's often we don't pull it up very hard, even if we do use it.)
Both hand brake and "P" for automatic or "Gear 1" for manual need to be used to prevent unexpected rolling. And it is supposed either of them should work properly in case when the other one is fail. We need redundancy for the safety.
As the X5 case, it's clearly a design error.
Never park the car and leave it in "N" (automatic) or "空档" (manual). Hand brake is required to be used as well (all the time when you park your car) to have the redundancy of rolling prevention. Sometime the judgement of whether a slope is steep or not might be wrong.
In some driving schools, teacher may also teach you to set the wheels to certain angle when parking according to the slope of the road surface to aviod unexpected rolling as well.
