现在好像不能在免税账户上建立美元分支账户了？

依稀记得TFSA刚出来的时候是可以这么做的，而且可以在上面直接用美金炒股。

Sure you can. Some discount brokerage allow you to have USD within TFSA for free. Only they charge extra for holding US$ in RRSP and RESP. Try Questrade.
