A 29-year-old man remains in hospital in serious but stable condition after a stabbing outside the Rideau Centre.

Police said a man was stabbed on Mackenzie King bridge just after 9 p.m. Sunday.

He suffered a deep stab wound to his abdomen and underwent surgery in hospital, paramedics said, adding witnesses at the scene provided first aid.
Police spoke to witnesses but no other details have been released.

Police want anyone who saw the incident to call them at 613-236-1222, ext. 5166.

25岁男子涉闯入一栋民宅杀人​

一名25岁男子28日涉嫌在安河培塔瓦瓦（Petawawa）的一个住家内持刀杀死一名男子，被安河省警以一级谋杀罪名移送法办。

警方说，没有固定住所的高达（Brian David Goddard）除了杀死一人之外，并重伤两名妇女，除谋杀罪名之外，再加两条杀人未遂罪名。高达29日透过视频出现在京斯顿（Kingston）的一个法庭。

警方28日上午接获报案后，在11时以前到达位于东街（East Street）的一所住家，到达现场时发现56岁的彼得斯马（Danny Petersma）已死亡。警方出动直升机和派出猎犬展开缉捕行动，搜寻这栋房子附近地区。驻扎在培塔瓦瓦的空军宪兵队也协助搜捕行动。这名嫌犯在两个半小时后落网。

警方说，一名55岁妇女以及一名17岁少女在这起凶案中身受重伤，已送医救治。安河省警和宪兵队仍在调查此案。高达预定7月2日重回法庭接受审判。

Ottawa police are looking for four teenagers who they say shot a kayaker with a pellet gun at Mooney's Bay beach.
Police say the 60-year-old kayaker was out on the water at 4 p.m. Sunday, about 30 metres from the shore, when something hit his left forearm.
The kayaker told police four Caucasian teens, which he estimated were between 16 and 18 years old, then began to walk away from the shore.
One of those teenagers was wearing a black and red checkered shirt, the others mostly dressed in black.
The kayaker returned to the Rideau Canoe Club then he was taken to hospital to have the pellet removed.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa police guns and gangs Section at 613-236-1222, ext. 5050, or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477.
