brother riven, your idea is great. if we have a place for ourselves, i can even spread words to toronto and get people from there to join so that this website will become even more influencial. one thing: i don't like talking about stocks. i have learned too much about finance and economics to believe in stocks. there is a book called "irrational exuberance" by robert shiller. i recommend people who still believe in stocks to read it. to me, finance is not about gambling. nobody would listen to me 2 years ago, but i guess many will endorse my view now.
my backgraoud: ph.d. in economics, working at a bank as an economist, 10% of my time reading "xian2 shu1" (cite muranan), 90% time working on risk management and banking.

我们家装了National的, 刚看到这个帖, 上来报告一下. 就像你说的来的人按门铃挨家挨户,也看到许多邻居们签字了. 周三签的, 周五就派人来装了, 我老公很欣喜地说这个炉子来热水的确比之前旧的快很多, 顺便拿到$100块. 炉子和管子都换了新的. 唯一不足就是因为热水来得太快, 开水龙头时往热水那边开, 习惯性手伸过去试水温, 结果被水稍稍烫到, 现在都改从中间开. 家里有小朋友的跟他们说一声注意就好, 习惯问题. 最开心的是现在水池放水很快就ready了, 而且不会因为前面有俩客人洗过澡自己就没热水, 要等两小时再自己洗. 以上为切身体验, 大家自己决定, 您用了喜不喜欢本人概不负责.
