I had work on Indian reserve on north more than a year, I have to say this is the most appreciated experience in my life. The aboriginal people took me like family which you never get from other place like Ottawa.
Winter is long and dark, maybe only a few hours sunlight. But you do have a lot of time play with different friends as everyone depends on each other.
The life and people there are much better than Ottawa or Toronto.
