Police complete three-week gang crackdown

Ottawa Police have wrapped up a three-week campaign targeting street gang activity with 13 arrests and 51 charges.

The Direct Action Response Team and West Neighbourhood Officers hit the west end, specifically Dumaurier, Ritchie, Ramsay, Michelle Heights, Meadowlands, Lepage and Morriset.

Officers seized 37-hundred dollars worth of crack, 921 dollars worth of marijuana, two large knives, a replica handgun and a machete.
