一般 76 届是指76年毕业的； 76 级是指 76 年入学的！
1977 年高中毕业的叫 77 届高中毕业生； 当年参加高考进入大学的叫 77 级大学生 （虽然他们是78年初才入学）

What I said was for the middle school only. You mentioned, in 1975, you had still two years to stay in the middle school. That's what we called 76 届. That was named when the students starting middle school (in our case, should be in 1972/1973). There was nothing to do with the University system.
