actually, first year courses in ADM are not so easy. So if are thinking about transfer, which u need at least B+ average, i suggest u not taking more course. The more you take, the more chance that they will lower your avrage, especially with English courses, they are not our strong subjects. Business English which is the require English for ADM student, is hard enough for most of us, i haven't heard anyone got above B+ in that subject. Regular English all involve in a lot of writing in essays, poetry, Shakespeare etc, strongly suggest u not taking them. However, u can ask about ESL writing courses, if UBC or McGill accept them, then u can take ESL writing instead of regular English courses. I am sure they are a lot easier. Since u are B.com student, u can only take eco1104 or eco1102. i. m pretty sure about this, i don;t think they have changed it this year. As a first year student, u don;t really hvae that much of choices, so not much electives u can take
