Graphic Designer - Advertising

The graphic designer produces and adapts graphic art and visual materials for a wide variety of promotions and advertisements, for a variety of traditional and interactive media outlets including print, web, television, direct marketing, and outdoor display. Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization.

General Duties:

• Create, adapt, and produce graphic design projects for multichannel campaigns such as websites, social media, display advertising and direct marketing.
• Responsible for execution and localization of collateral materials provided and the creation of original content for email marketing, social media, and online advertisements, as well as some print opportunities.
• Collaborate with others to create designs that meet project objectives and support brand initiatives.
• Assist with e-mail newsletter design and production (resizing images, creating headers).
• Re-size photos at the request of other departments.
• Manage & organize the photo library.
• Act as liaison for photo shoots and event press coverage.
• Ad hoc projects as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 -3 years prior graphic design experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Passionate about digital marketing, and be able to match their aesthetic approach to our brand standards and existing collateral.
• Current HTML & CSS coding abilities.
• Experience with email marketing platforms (Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, etc).
• Strong time-management skills and be able juggle multiple projects.
• Link to portfolio website must be included with resume.

Full time
Salary: $11 to $20 per hour
