With the rapid growth of businesses, we are looking to set up a new headquarters based in the city of Toronto, Canada. Hence, we are seeking to hire a Chinese-speaking General Manager to oversee daily operations.
Why do we need you?
For this role, you will be tasked with managing a staff team, meeting the business objectives to increase company profitability. Your job scope for this position will generally include:
• Developing business policies and guidelines for organization operations
• Monitoring the daily performance of company staff, conducting necessary recruiting, training, disciplining and appraisals
• Allocating company human resources effectively to enhance productivity
• Establishing and implementing strategic planning for business growth; preparing budgets and developing methods for result measurement
• Expanding the company’s networks, working closely with various organizations and partners to build on the company’s image
• Ensuring that all goals and targets set by the company directors are met, making mid-course alterations if necessary
• Handling financial and administration related tasks
• Arranging for meetings, workshops and training sessions to increase level of performance among staff under supervision
• Preparing reports to be reviewed by the board of directors
What are we looking for?
The successful applicant should possess:
• 8 years + working experience in a senior management role
• Proven track record of leading and supervising a staff team; capable of achieving results for any tasks given
• Relevant qualification of a Bachelor Degree in Management
