请教各位如果ownership那张纸不在，车还可以上路吗？

and shall surrender the permits or copies for inspection upon the demand of a police officer. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 7 (5).

有复印件，至少警察不会给罚款单，可能要求你限期提供原件。

越说越不敢上路了，希望他们能尽早办完手续吧。话说内大哥也忒不地道了，我lease还没到期呢就提前把我的车主证拿走了，要是我这几天被拦下，不是很麻烦么。我自己都不知道。

就算LEASE也会有OWNERSHIP给你的，只不过OWNERSHIP的车主不是你。
虽然遇到过没问OWNERSHIP的情况，但还是要带身上。

cfcplayer给的是安生省得的交规。不适用于魁省。工作人员建议我在安省车里放复印件，因为怕丢。丢了车就没法卖了。在魁省一定带原件。

Taking a photo (a true copy) of the vehicle registration permit should be good enough to show the police office if required. In LZ's case, you can ask the dealer guy to email you a photo of the permit, and save it in your smart phone.

Nowadays, police can easily verify your vehicle/driver permit validity using the laptop in police cruiser.

你天天做这手续，用的都是专业术语。我理解在安省原件可放家里。那张薄纸，放男神们钱包里，过两天就变成手纸了。
