Khadr’s lawyers, due in Federal Court later this month, are asking a judge to approve yet another round of amendments to a lawsuit that’s been inching its way through the system for almost as long as he’s been locked away. Originally filed in 2004 as a mere $100,000 claim (and later bumped up to $10 million), Khadr’s latest submission says he now deserves $60 million from the Canadian government: $20 million for breaching his Charter rights, $20 million in punitive damages, and $20 million for failing to treat him like the 15-year-old child soldier he was.

加拿大政府应该控告美国军方，当初没有在战场上，直接把这个伊斯兰恐怖分子打死。

老穆是尝到了滥用宽容的加拿大法律制度的甜头. 2001年那个著名的加拿大政府赔偿案激励了一代又一代恐怖小将.

2001年某老穆工程师被美国怀疑参加恐怖组织, 通报加拿大政府, 最后把他在美国关了1-2年监狱,出狱后,老穆社区给他捐钱请最好的本地律师, 用人权, 各种舆论工具, 最后加拿大政府苦于没有抓到他现行的恐怖行为, 最后赔款3000万加币, 这老兄不含糊, 把钱绝大部分给了穆斯林人权基金等等, 只要有老穆犯事, 不管大事小事. 那基金会都给资金支持.

于是, 每次碰到老穆犯事, 都能神奇的有强大民意抗议游行等等, 1-2年前在多仑多公车挥舞刀具威胁乘客和司机, 警察开枪打死了他, 最后整个老穆社区沸腾, 游行示威, 说那18岁的, 还是孩子, 为啥警察把他打死.

老穆如此滥用制度漏洞, 对他们在这里的发展有利有弊.

有利的是他们能用宗教为纽带, 在社会事务中能团结保护自己的利益.
不好的后果是主流对他们越反感, 其它民族的人对他们也避开. 影响到他们的部分经济社会生活, 比如卖房, 知道太多本地人看房后发现小区周围10家邻居老穆有2家以上的.坚决避开. 最近RR 顶级cardel banfield 6个月房连续大降价,这也是一个因素.

可怕的是自由党的一些政客为了选举利益出卖原则，和支持他们的媒体法官们一起推波助澜，搞的这个社会完全没有正义可言。

We have vigorously defended against any attempt to lessen his punishment for these crimes.

While Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau refused to rule out special compensation for this convicted terrorist and the NDP actively tries to force Canadian taxpayers to compensate him, we believe the victims of crime, not the perpetrators, are the ones who deserve compensation.”

Friday on Sun News Network, Ezra Levant confronted Calgary imam Syed Soharwardy. You might remember the Imam as the man who filed a complaint with the Alberta Human Rights Commission in 2006 when Ezra published the Danish cartoons of Mohammed in the now defunct Western Standard magazine.

Ezra's appearance on the show was unexpected to Mr. Soharwardy, as he had been discussing a separate issue, the problem of Islamic radicalization in Canada, with Straight Talk host Ryan Doyle.
In this confrontation, Ezra wasted no time, immediately questioning Mr. Soharwardy on a number of issues, including his involvement in a Calgary rally that featured flags of the terrorist group Hezbollah, a quote on his website attributed to Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, statements the Imam has made on the desirability of seeing Islamic Sharia law implemented in all countries, and more.

Finally, Ezra got to the central issue that connects the two men: Soharwardy's attempts to silence him so many years ago. It really must be watched. Words can't accurately convey the exchange.
Throughout the interview, Mr. Soharwardy remained defensive, accusing Levant of misinterpreting his words and intentions - despite the evidence presented. Ezra concluded with a dismissal, promising to replay the heated exchange on his show, The Source, on Friday night.
