I saw this before and I know why.
It's because, when you drag the photos from phone to computer, you are actually dragging the "pre-view" version of the photos, not the complete photos.
Go to the DTIM/..../... folder, select and copy the actual files.

Actually I did cut and paste to the folder on laptop.
