两个星期收一次垃圾已经习惯了，因为至少绿桶还是每周一次

Update 一下：因为Jeff就住我家附近的街上，算近邻吧。我给他发了信。说:

You are about the same age as us & your other neighbors. I know that there are about 60-70% your neighbors are Chinese hard-working people. We have paid so much income taxes and property taxes.....

他说:
I agree with your assessment of the population of our community....

Should any of our neighbours or the various communities have any questions or want to meet with me at any time, I would gladly come anywhere to discuss their concerns, questions or vision for Kanata North.

If there are any questions people have that you wonder where I stand on I would be more than happy to answer for folks to help them understand who I am and what I stand for and think on a number of issues outside my platform.

This community means a lot to me as do the people that live here. The only way to be a good city councillor is to truly understand and represent the constituent's views.

As as for light rail, I actually do support it but not until phase 3. Phase 2 is Light rail to Bayshore with added improvements to our bus system, Transit-way and added spaces at our park and rides with the development of new park and rides in our community. Also with a billion dollar price tag to bring light rail to Canadian Tire Centre it is not feasible or affordable until phase 3.

很遗憾在两位候选人的platforms中都没看到对多元文化的看法。。而visible minority ethnic groups 在坎北正像你说的是hardworking people的代表。。在这一点上incumbent 老太太做的就很好。。

我刚查了Marianne在city的spending，在每年20多万的议员经费中今年她有两笔款项作为special events donation捐给春节庆祝活动。。

这个应该成为该区议员的norm，无论谁当选。。虽然只有区区数百元，但是是个姿态。。
