取消ROGER INTERNET服务要交费吗？

因为要搬家，原来用的是ROGERS INTERNET。如果想在新住址继续用ROGERS，不知下面哪个办法好？
（1）通知ROGERS要搬家，让他们在新住址处接通服务。
他们是否要收CANCEL费？（他们可能要派人来收CABLE MODEM和连线）
他们在新地址是否要收安装费？
（2）统治ROGERS CANCEL 服务？ （到搬入新地址后，重新申请。）
他们是否要收CANCEL费？（他们可能要派人来收CABLE MODEM和连线）

大家有谁有这经验可以分享？

sympatico搬家时没收钱,但是电话服务的转换收了$55.

可能是不用收，但要自己把MODEM等给他们送回去。

自己把猫和变压器送到任何一个rogers video就可以cancel了，3分钟。

(1)There is a service charge. Remember you need to transfer your Rogers cable TV service as well. There is over $50 for the transfer of cable TV (if there is cable service in your new location) and another $30 for the transfer to Rogers internet! But you keep your original plan, promotion package and email account, etc. If you haven't used up the 5 months rebate before you move, you will keep enjoying it.

(2)Cancel first and reapply
Yes, you can save the transfer charge. But you can apply again with previous name, any promotion is only applicable to new members! You can have one of your family member to apply for you, and better use a different credit card if you pay by cc. Since you will have a new telephone number on file, everything on Roger's record will be different and they will treat as a new application. But remember, you need to apply for Cable TV too. At the moment, there is no promotion, so you will have to pay around 99 for the cable TV installation (even they probably just plug in!). You can also hold on for now, pay an extra $10 on top of your internet bill, and wait till there is promotion to apply for cable TV (normally you can have free installation and two months free view of an Ultimate Package).

That's all cost and benefit analysis. Hope this helps.

Forgot to mention

Another option,

(3) transfer your internet to Sympatico. You need,
a. First check the availability of Sympatico in your area with your new phone number. (You can easily get from Bell by calling them. Yes, Bell charges you $55 for transfering service. You cannot avoid that expense. It's the same amount no matter you keep the previous number or not! They will provide one month notification service if anyone calls your old number, he will be notified of your new number.)

b. Check www.sympatico.ca to see if the 5 month-rebate promotion is going on. Heard it ended end of Mar, but there were a couple promotion for 3 months half-price. So you better check.

天哪，现在装一个普通ROGER CABLE TV安装费要99元。我记得去年4月我装ROGERS CABEL工TV，他们要了我大约50-60 元安装费。

如果这样的话（99元CABLE TV 安装费），我再加多100元，是否够装卫星天线？
关于装卫星天线的费用分析，大家有无高件？
