昨天我娃再快到学校的下坡路时候没发现脚下有块黑冰，摔倒在路上，立马奔来个白人蜀黍，问她摔坏没有，有没有事，让小家伙很感动！

It happened at Innes and Cyrville around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police have closed the intersection until further notice.

Ottawa police are investigating after an elderly man was struck by a school bus in the New Edinburgh area Friday afternoon.
Paramedics say the 81-year-old man was struck by the bus shortly before 4 p.m. at the intersection of Beechwood Ave. and Springfield Rd.
Ottawa firefighters had to free the man's leg which was pinned under the bus.
A woman who was at the scene shortly after the collision told CTV Ottawa she went to the man’s side while he was pinned underneath the bus.
She thought he might need CPR, but she says he was breathing, so she stayed with him, holding his hand, until emergency crews arrived. He was semi-conscious when they got there.
He was rushed to the Trauma Centre in critical condition, with serious injuries to his head, chest and leg.
None of the students on the bus at the time of the collision were injured. Neither was the driver.
Police closed the intersection for several hours Friday evening to investigate.

Two people are in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Ottawa's west end.
Police say the two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle at Baseline Road near Navaho just after 10pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2014.
Paramedics say one man, 24, is in critical condition after suffering trauma to his head, pelvis, arms and legs. The second victim, a woman, 21, is in serious condition after suffering a head injury. It's not known if the driver of the vehicle was injured.
Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Ottawa Police.
