OTTAWA –A new report from All State Insurance showed Ottawa drivers claimed the most amount of collisions in Canada in 2013.
Provincially Alberta had the highest amount of collision claims followed by Ontario, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick .
Nova Scotia had the greatest increase in collision claims followed by Ontario.
Greg Bergeron with All State tells 1310News distracted driving and weather conditions in the city could be factors but there are many things you can do to prevent yourself from getting into an accident.
“Limit your distractions. Just drive. Obey the rules of the road, keep your car in good shape and remove the snow from your rear windshield so you can see.” Said Bergeron “It’s all common sense.”
The study followed All State users only and also showed December 21, 22 and 23 are the worst days out the year for crashes.
