My girlfriend speaks perfect English, but we do speak our mother tongue, chinese when we are among ourselves. I don't agree that Chinese is the language that best enable us to express our feelings and love. English is just as good. When we write love notes to each other, we do write in English, and we have been doing fine, as fine as you have writen Chinese love notes to your girlfriend.

这句话说对了.若论美女,上海MM不是很多.我指单从容貌上讲的.上海MM的特点是她的味道,说气质这个词有点大了,味道比较合适.至于这味道怎么样,不一样的人,不一样的文化背景地域背景的人会有不一样的评论.而且现在上海的一部分美女都不是本地人,就是不是从小说上海话那种.March看到的那些,上海本地人的成分就更少了.

I agree. Its like in Xmen where you gain some special power that make you powerful yet make you a mutant. So in that sense, you are a mutant chinese. I myself have always been the cameleon, being 100% chinese in a group of chinese, and being 100% canadian in a group of canadian, but no matter who i'm with, i'm always myself.
