I already filed a claim. I believe it's a must.Two reasons:
1, repair cost is high;
2, If you didn't file, it would likely bring you much higher liability - Insurance would reject new claims in the future since you didn't report immdiately;
The key point is, you need immediate action to prevent progressive damage
