FreePhoneLine 上面有人说了,交一个60刀的费用就不再有月费了. 和你说的Fongo是一个公司两套服务. Fongo是用在智能手机的.
从2009年开始用FPL到现在.

有得有失, 每个月省了BELL的$30费用,就要承担网断的风险. 如果电话很重要,还可以办个$20包月的手机!
一般人网络很少坏. 如果故障频繁,可以把它转移到手机上 (Forward when unavailable....)

BELL的电话也不是绝对不会断的。
如果家里Internet断了，手机的通话时间又不够，可以使用3G/4G数据服务，利用google voice给ISP打电话。可用的通话时间就长了。但是别人不能打进。
如果想让别人打进，也有办法做到。申请一个google voice的电话号码。在你的手机上装上google hangout软件。把3G/4G开着，别人打你的google voice的电话号码时，google直接接到你的手机上。
电信公司的传统语音服务收费太贵，ridiculous。数据服务好点。自己选择吧。

这个问题早就解决了,有的voip modem有PSTN pass through,没有电的时候就从PSTN pass through.

你需要一条传统电话线PSTN作为backup

另外freephonline的sip config 现在是$60了. voip modem我们这里有卖, $30 and up.
