万能的CFC, 请问为留学生租房做cosigner需要提供什么文件

一个老同学的孩子在多伦多租房找我做cosigner, 租房中介要求我提供以下文件:

1. Employment letter
2. Last year's tax return Notice of Assessment
3. Last year T4
4. Credit report
5. Bank statement to show enough balance.

我觉得中介的要求过多(比如第2项), 包含太多个人信息 , 差不多赶上做签证担保的了.

请问CFC上有无懂行的房屋中介, 作为cosigner应该提供哪些合理的文件?

给个名字,做多加个工作单位,让他们做credit check去。。行就行,不行拉到。。你自己租个房用得着这五项全齐吗?

A landlord might ask you for a guarantor or co-signer if they think you may not have enough money to pay the rent, or that you may move out before the lease is over. However, a landlord should not use these requirements in a way that is discriminatory and violates the Ontario Human Rights Code.
