The iPhone Field Engineering team is looking for a motivated, highly technical Telephony Field Test QA Engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills
Key Qualifications
- BS plus 0-5 years of experience
- Experience in testing cellular technologies (GSM/GPRS/UMTS/LTE)
- Basic understanding of mobile network infrastructure
- Must be able to work independently and should be proactive
- Demonstrated ability to own a complete functional area of an application or product
- Good understanding of SQA methodologies & practices
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Comfortable with working on hardware and in supporting engineering in debugging/reproducing hard to reproduce issues
- Fluent in English and local language
- Some travel may be required in this role
You will join a dynamic team responsible for qualifying all of the latest iPhone products. Your focus will be testing the baseband and telephony functionality (phone, sms, data, etc) of the iPhone. The successful candidate will complete both documented and ad hoc testing to ensure high quality releases.
