New genetically engineered potato approved for Canada

Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency gave the green light to a new genetically modified potato on Monday.

Innate potatoes are engineered to reduce bruising and black spots and to stop them from browning. They were created by the company J.R. Simplot in Idaho.

94%，所以超市卖有机豆腐，深为怀疑。美加英文 organic 的定义是非转基因的，但中文“有机”，可以随意理解，估计和普通豆腐无差异。。。。

Simplot, for its part, says it’ll market the non-browning Innate potato in pre-sliced packaging like apples, which sounds a little weird to us, but who knows? Maybe the market is crying out for pre-sliced genetically modified potatoes.

太好了，希望转基因食品以后可以勇敢的标注一下自己，再也不用偷偷摸摸的骗人了。lol

你小看麦当劳在土豆工业的力量了，多年前孟山多的土豆就死在麦当劳手里，他是第一超级土豆大买主，他不要，整个供应链库存链运输链都不要，所以没人种，种了没人买，单独运输成本太夸张了。
其实本质问题是土豆炸完了颜色都不怎么样，他们干嘛要不变色啊，你去摊上看看，都是现切现炸，洗都不洗，我真是奇怪为啥要研究这个基因，那不变色的苹果倒是有点道理。
