It has little to do with racism but just sound practical advises. If statistics indicate one will be attacked in certain area, one will be well advised to steer clear or take precaution. If these areas happen to be populated by certain ethnic groups, so be it.

The warning isn't inaccurate. Those areas are dangerous. Furthermore they hate Chinese people and attack them all the time. Is it wrong to notice these kinds of things and warn about them?

Hundreds of Chinese have been attacked by black immigrants in just the last few months! That is not racist! Killing Chinese or robbing them is also not racist! But telling your people to be aware and vigilant of problems and incidents that keeping happening, is Racist!
How dare you tell Chinese people that those areas are problematic and you can get attacked and possibly robbed! You should always portray those immigrants especially from Africa in the best light possible an excuse every crime and mistake that they keep making!! Otherwise your Racist!!

The Metroploitan Police used to record ethnic origin of the perps. Politicians ordered them to stop as it showed most crimes were committed by Afro caribbeans and other so called minorities. Good on Air China for pointing out the truth that looney do gooders want to ignore.

Left London back in the 90s. It was starting to get rough even then. London figures for all crimes up.
For the year to July 2016 a total of 749930 crimes for Metropolitan London. Like tourist brochures for any place, these aren't mentioned.
The preventative advice offered by Air China is valid.

That's just an advice. Has nothing to do with racism. It says about gathering area. It's a fact in all countries specially in New York. On the other hand not allowing Chinese specifically to go to those areas IS racism. It's just a friendly advice. Of course you are free to go there if you want just don't complain later on. Racism happens everywhere in the world including North America. It's just plane naive to believe it doesn't exist.
