综合外国媒体1月30日报道，29日晚，大约200名蒙面的黑衣人出现在瑞典首都斯德哥尔摩火车站，袭击在火车站游荡的青少年难民，这个暴力团伙宣称他们是为了梅兹尔报仇。

目击者称，29日晚9时左右，他们看见一伙黑衣暴徒在斯德哥尔摩火车站袭击难民，“我看到可能有三个人在挨打，我很害怕就跑掉了”。

传单中呼吁人们拒绝接受“这些针对瑞典女性的、一再发生的袭击和骚扰行为”，“我们拒绝我们曾经一度安全的社会遭到破坏……当瑞典街头已经不再适合普通国民安全地行走，我们有责任解决这个问题。这就是为何今天200名瑞典男性聚集在一起，向在首都火车站附近寻衅滋事的 街头儿童 发出反对的声音。警方已经清楚地表明他们无力阻止（难民犯罪），而我们也没有其他方法向这些人施加他们应得的惩罚。”

难民的急剧增多给瑞典多地带来严重的社会治安问题。警方表示，他们已经疲于应付各种难民犯罪，如流氓斗殴和暴力侵袭等，因此没有更多的精力去应对毒品交易等严重罪案。
在瑞典首都斯德哥尔摩，警方本周警告称，首都火车站现在已经被来自摩洛哥的街头儿童“占领”了，他们专门偷窃和猥亵女性。这些儿童难民成日在斯德哥尔摩市中心游荡，拒绝接收瑞典当局提供的帮助。
在过去四年间，向瑞典申请庇护的18周岁以下、无监护人的摩洛哥难民的数量激增。由于成长背景复杂，他们往往难以信任成年人，约有1/5的儿童难民在申请庇护后从寄宿或寄养家庭中逃走，他们选择流落街头、成为少年犯罪团伙成员。
