Honestly, it is very hard to get a nice job for this major, in U Ottawa, Environmental is under Civil Engineering, most of students go to consulting company , the salary is just like a common engineering. 45K to start, not like CS or EE. environmental engineering is a supporting department to all civil construction jobs, so there is less need in the market. if you are top 5% of this major, you can always get a nice job, however, it is the same for all majors. if you are an average common student , you wont make a decent life if you study this major
