转专业一定要第二年才可以转吗？

it doesn't really matter when, as long u change it before 2nd year, coz first 2yrs, all courses are the same for all majors.

我的意思当然是注册信息里面能否尽早把我的专业换掉
因为有少数课，我想选，但是却遭到说doesn't apply to your program of study
....

我夏天转的时候，系里的人告诉我说有的program冬天不开，不知道现在公布了没有，他们说要是你想转的那个系冬天不开的话，就不行了。

You have to finish first semester, reguardless your grades you may change your option. This policy is used in school of management, don't know if other faculties use it or not.

听说有人最近就从economics转到engineering了？？

During Feb. of the winter semester, you can obtain a request form from the Academic advisor and you fill it out and handed in to her to change your program. It's best if you change it as early as possible for the Biotech & Chemical Engineering double major because they have at least seven courses per semester and in 3rd year, you are required to take full time classes in the summer. The later you switch, the more behind you will get.
