Fire fighters doused an early-morning blaze at Collège catholique Samuel-Genest on Carsons Road in the east end Tuesday after receiving a number of 911 calls that a newly-built portable behind the school was on fire.
The school reports that the 4 a.m. fire was in a structure constructed by building students as part of a class project.
No one was hurt and the school day will go ahead as normal, the school reported.
A fire inspector is on the case and police have been notified.
