有一点不明白，近百万的房子二楼为什么不弄地板？很多卡屯贴出来的豪宅二楼都是地毯，难道大家喜欢地毯？
大家都喜欢walk out basement，我不喜欢，没有安全感
地板又凉又硬又滑
但楼梯不是地板看起来很cheap

在manotick, long island居住去Kanata上班，上下班时间交通不像去市中心那么堵塞。
如果住在Westboro去Kanata上班，上下班时间交通顺畅得很。
您老经济都喊了不下十几次吃不消了，还不照样在这里皮实地蹦哒着

地板与地毯相比，不是一个档次。
It really makes a HUGE difference to have a basement with much larger windows, whether it's a Walkout or Lookout basement. A basement without large windows will always remind you it's a BASEMENT, while a basement with large windows will be more like another living room.
Personally, as long as Lookout basement has equally large windows (some Lookout basements have smaller windows), I cannot see too much advantage of Walkout basement over Lookout basement, unless the owner wants to use that basement for some special uses (separate living space for renters or relatives; use basement as an open workshop, etc.).
