房子朝向问题，各抒己见吧

坐南朝北的房子在中国没话讲，因为中国大部分地区比加拿大热乎。
在加拿大，个人认为，家里最好卧室和客厅，要有阳光，厨房卫生间有没有阳光问题不大，有当然最好。
大门下午有太阳照最好。

造个全玻璃房。

别人家的主卧客厅朝向会不一直，每天变吗？

我家一直是主卧客厅厨房后院在东南，其他卧室车道大门朝西北，我就是不喜欢下午bbq时候西晒，早起有太阳晒晒，个人觉得还可以

Not true. The worst house backyard facing is N and NE. NW facing will at least give you lots of daylight, especially during late afternoon hours. So your kitchen will be quite bright and very pleasant to work in.

In most North American houses, 西晒 is never as big a problem as in apartment buildings in China. It's much more important to make sure your kitchen and other popular areas to be well lit.

这样的朝向的房子后院是不会有阳光的，常年生活在黑暗里对身心不利。但是各种风水问题都有解决办法，比方说你可以在fense上挂个大镜子把阳光反射到房子里。如果需要更好的解决方案，你得咨询坛子里的风水大师，热狗先生。

"这样的朝向的房子后院是不会有阳光的"? Actually in the after work afternnon hours, you will enjoy more sunlight in the kitchen and probably the family room. On the contrary, houses with backyard facing SE will have more sunlight in the morning, but the kitchen probably will become dark in late afternoon.

This is where you can calculate the actual sun position in any time, any day near your house location. Before making claims that certain house facings will not have much sunlight, please at least check the sun position first and compare it with the actual floor plan. You may be surprised that how much sunlight can be received (and for how long) by a NW facing window.

The local people are not stupid in favoring West facing backyards. They have generations of housing experience, and take much consideration in healthy life style, social activities, and children's needs.

除了考虑房子朝向意外你得看下房子里面客厅以及各个卧室的朝向，我的房子前院东南后院西北，客厅是东南的，所以阳光不太多，但是下午有一些；我有个卧室是朝西北的，基本太阳一直要晒到下午1-2点，那个卧室特别热，可能是因为那个卧室的窗户特别大。
去过客厅朝西北的房子，感觉夏天不是一般的热，而且阳光有点过于强了，基本肯定是要开空调的

在加拿大后院朝南、东南都很好。主要的活动区域在family room、厨房、breakfast area，所以这些地方朝南比较受欢迎。

I once lived in a 后院朝东南 townhouse. The main problem of that facing is kitchen and breakfast area (used also as casual dining area) become quite dark in late afternoon. Yes, 朝东南 will give those areas more sunlight IN THE MORNING, but in late afternoon (when they will be more likely used), sun position will go all the way to west side (or north west during summer) instead.

I had experience staying in a master bedroom which has both the NW facing and SW facing windows. It turned out that the NW facing window never brought too much heat even in summer, while the SW window (even smaller) had to be blocked all the time for the heat. Why? Because the NW window has 屋檐, while SW window has not (it's a side window).

So you see, not all NW facing windows will make you feel "夏天不是一般的热，而且阳光有点过于强". Most houses now have 屋檐 on their main windows (not on the side windows). They will actually block most of direct sunlight in hot summer, because sun position will be so high then. When sunlight comes directly in, it's already late and much cooler.
